About this collection
"Japan's 100 Clear Streams" is a selection of clear streams nationwide in Japan. It can be considered a sister edition to the "100 Famous Waters."
The selection targets 10 clear streams from each region: Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, Chubu, Tokai, Hokuriku, Chugoku, Kinki, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
A DVD is commercially available, allowing viewers to see their beautiful appearances in video, which is a welcome feature.
This selection is extremely useful for understanding Japan's abundant water resources. Although not all are tourist spots, they are ideal for picnics and camping. However, camping is prohibited in some rivers, so caution is necessary.
When visiting with children, prioritize safety such as securing footing.
