About this collection
"Kagoshima's Top 100 Natural Sites" was selected by Kagoshima City in March 2014 as part of the city's Biodiversity Regional Strategy (Rich Nature Kagoshima Living Creatures Plan). The selection was made by the Kagoshima City Natural Top 100 Selection Committee to widely promote the natural attractions found within Kagoshima City.
This Top 100 list aims to maintain and preserve Kagoshima's precious natural environment while deepening understanding of biodiversity. It is introduced clearly through a guidebook that includes abundant photographs and access information.
