Bingo 100 Selections備後百選
About this collection
"Bingo 100 Selections" is a list of 100 attractions in the Bingo area (including Ibara, Innoshima, Onomichi, Kasaoka, Fukuyama, Fuchu, and Mihara) chosen by the Fukuyama Junior Chamber. It was planned and implemented as part of a "wide-area town development movement," covering a wide range of subjects such as scenery, festivals, mountains, and flora and fauna.
The Bingo region, blessed with a warm climate, rich nature, and excellent urban functions, is counted among the most livable areas in Japan. The 100 selections were chosen mainly to promote the charms of Bingo nationwide through online information dissemination (also compiled in a booklet).
Residents of the area may find this selection useful as a resource to rediscover their lifestyle and the local attractions. Of course, it is also useful as a guidebook for sightseeing.
